I personally don’t ever go shopping on Black Friday. I’m never anxious about getting bargain basement deals. I cannot think of anything that would be important enough for me to stand in line for hours or even days. As far as I’m concerned, whatever I need, I’ll get. I’ll get it in my own time and at my own pace…..and price.

Here’s a rundown of what some retailers are offering on Black Friday:
• Target is pushing its great deals on electronics for its Friday rush. The retailer is selling 46-inch LCD TVs for $298 and Amazon’s Kindle Keyboard with 3G for $84 – both items 40 percent off regular retail prices. Those shopping for little ones will also find impressive deals at Target: Many pre-school board games are $3.99 and a battery-powered Mini Cooper ride-on toy is on $99 (regular $159). Target stores will open at midnight on Friday for early (or late) shoppers.
• Shoppers at Kohl’s will get a $15 gift certificate to use later for every $50 spent on Black Friday. Some of the best deals here include down-alternative comforters usually priced $99-149 on sale for $26 and small kitchen appliances normally $39.99 for $19.99. Kohl’s will open at midnight

• Macy’s is the place to go if you’re looking for luxury gifts for less. Women’s cashmere sweaters, normally $99, will be reduced to $39.99 on Friday. For the fashionable man on your list, leather coats normally $450 will sell for $99. Macy’s stores will open at 4 a.m. Friday morning.• Wal-mart is also plugging its electronics for Black Friday shoppers. Here you’ll find $49 Blu-ray players, 32-inch LCD TVs for $188, 7-inch digital picture frames for $20 and a selection of console games starting at $10. If you’re shopping for a chef, small kitchen appliances including waffle irons and food processors will sell for $2.94. Wal-mart stores will open at 10 p.m. on Thursday.
